(ECNS) -- West Lake Longjing tea gardens in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province have entered the spring harvest season.

Production is estimated to reach 550 tons at a higher quality thanks to the mild local climate.

Drones are being used to transport freshly-harvested tea leaves, shortening transport time.

Freshly brewed Longjing tea has a yellow-greenish color and an aroma of chestnuts and cut grass, favored among numerous tea lovers.

Farmers have switched to online shopping platforms this year.
