The rover and the lander of the Chang'e-4 probe have been awakened after the third "sleep" on the far side of the Moon, said China National Space Administration (CNSA) on Saturday.

The lander awoke at 6:14 p.m. on Saturday, and the platform was in normal condition. Earlier, the rover Yutu-2 woke up at 8:28 p.m. on Friday.

The lander and the rover will carry out planned work during the fourth lunar daytime, continuing scientific exploration.
