(ECNS) -- The Philippine Embassy in China announced on Wednesday that the Philippines will resume its electronic visa (e-visa) program for Chinese citizens starting in November.
According to the embassy, Chinese nationals traveling to the Philippines for tourism or business purposes, with stays of no more than 14 days and without the need for an extension, may apply for an e-visa. Holders of e-visas are required to enter the country through Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila or Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
The embassy said the move is part of the Philippines'long-standing efforts to strengthen people-to-people exchanges with China and to promote cooperation in trade and tourism.
