(ECNS) -- China's State Post Bureau announced on Friday that the cross-border land postal route between China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) officially resumed operations on September 25.
The route connecting Dandong in northeast China's Liaoning Province and Sinuiju, the fourth-largest city of DPRK, has been restored under the cooperation between the two governments, the State Post Bureau wrote in a post.
The reopening of the China-DPRK land postal route is expected to provide greater convenience for mail exchanges between the peoples of the two countries, the bureau said.
