China and ASEAN countries have actively advanced the consultations on a Code of Conduct (COC) in the South China Sea and finished the first reading of the Code of Conduct (COC) Single Draft Negotiating Text ahead of schedule, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Wednesday.
Wang announced the outcomes during the China-ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Bangkok.
