Death toll in Hong Kong building fire rises to 55

(ECNS) -- The death toll in a major fire that broke out Wednesday afternoon at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) has risen to 55, local fire department said Thursday.

A fire broke out at a residential building in the Tai Po area of Hong Kong on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in a significant number of casualties.
