(ECNS) -- Beijing reported 49 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday, said Liu Xiaofeng, deputy director of the Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control at a press conference on Wednesday.
Of the 49 infections, 27 were from Fengtai District, 10 from Fangshan District, seven from Haidian District, four from Chaoyang District and one from Xicheng District.
