Wearable thermometric patches in use at Beijing winter games

(ECNS) -- One thousand intelligent thermometric patches have been put into use in Beijing's Yanqing District for pandemic prevention and control during the "Experience Beijing" International Sled Training Week that kicked off on Sunday.

The patch is the smallest and most accurate wearable thermometric device currently available, according to its developer.

It can continuously monitor a person's body temperature via remote and real-time monitoring, and detect abnormal temperatures accurately and quickly.

Aerosol nucleic acid detection equipment is also being used to ensure the safety of the competitions.
