(ECNS) - Five passengers were slightly injured after a Beijing Capital Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport on route from Beijing to Macao on Tuesday.
A statement by the airline said the aircraft took off from Beijing Capital International Airport at 8:17. While approaching the Macao airport, it was hit by a gust of wind that caused hinderance to its landing gear.
The plane started emergency procedures and diverted to Shenzhen, making an emergency landing at 11:58. All 157 passengers and 9 crew members were evacuated safely.
