New energy increases locals' income in Xinjiang's Ulugqat(1/4)

With an investment of 3.5 million yuan (about 541,781 U.S. dollars), the 500kW solar power station was put into operation in late-October 2019. It has generated at least 940,000 kWh of electricity by the end of August this year and gained an income of around 700,000 yuan for the village.
