An exhibition of Achievements on the Protection of Huaxian (Hua County) woodblock New Year paintings opened at Prince Gong's Mansion in Beijing on Wednesday.
Originated from the plain of northern Henan Province and the ancient course of the Yellow River, the Huaxian woodblock New Year painting is an important representative of the cultural heritage of the Yellow River.
Huaxian woodblock New Year paintings were listed as the representative project of national intangible cultural heritage in 2008.
