Carved from a 3.27-meter-high, 0.99-meter-wide and 2.01-meter-tall thuja wood, the sculpture takes a craftsman from Chongqing working two years to complete. The masterpiece depicts 300 people with individual expressions and postures going about their bustling daily lives. Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival is one of the 10 most famous ancient Chinese paintings and has been long crowned as China's top artistic classic.
