New media works have become a major attraction at art shows recently, as artists are using new technologies to provide increasingly arresting, all-encompassing experiences.

In light of this development in artistic creation, this year's Art Nova 100 Opening Exhibition, a platform to launch the career of artists primarily aged under 35, features a section specially dedicated to works using multiple new technologies.

While providing impressive effects, these works also give a glimpse into people's emotions in an ever-changing time.

Held at Beijing's Guardian Art Center through Sept 12, Art Nova 100 features artworks by some 130 artists to update the audience with the artistic exploration of a younger generation in painting, sculpture, installation and other mediums.
