A kangaroo doing ballet: Circus on way

The Russian State Circus will bring grand circus performances "Island of Dream" to Shanghai during the National Day holiday.

The show is about the adventure of two friends who walk through a time tunnel and travel around the world in a hot-air balloon.

Acrobatic artists wi ll showcase their skills of silk hanging, trampoline and balancing. Animal tamers will bring a cheetah, brown bear,

Horse, dog and kangaroo to the stage to present lighthearted acts. The kangaroo used to perform a "boxing" act but this time it will display elegant ballet dance moves.
