Maur, 44, began to perform with various blues and rock groups at the age of 17 before dedicating himself to jazz when he turned 22. He has played with different groups in Paris and Bordeaux, including CBB 47, Jacob de la Fuente, Pierrot et les mal lunés and Jazz a Padam.

He published an album named "Mano a Mano," featuring Francis Lockwood trio, percussionist Jean-Marc Pierna and a string quartet. He also won the 2001 Trossingen International Harmonica Competition in Germany.

Guitarist Lujan graduated from the Bordeaux conservatory where he studied jazz under Jean Courtioux and Fernando Millet, a classical guitarist from Argentina. He also plays bass and harmonica for soloists and jazz singers.
