Century Park
If you are in Pudong and feel like flying a kite, having a picnic, or just want to soak in some rare sunshine, then head to Century Park. This is the largest park in town and there are plenty of activities for both the young and old. Take a stroll by the lake, rents some bikes, or go on a small boat ride on the lake. Century Park is a great place to go on the weekend and it's not far from restaurants and cafes, if you need to take a break from the sun.

Riverside Promenade
Riverside Promenade is a beautiful pedestrian street along the Huangpu River. It's about 2.5 kilometers long. And there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and locals selling trinkets. So come to the promenade and have a drink at a restaurant while you admire the view of the bund or have an ice cream while you walk along the river. It's not far from the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium, the Jinmao Tower and the Super Brand Mall.

Shanghai Wild Animal Park
Shanghai Wild Animal Park is a drive-through safari park. The park is located about 35 km from downtown Shanghai and is home to over 200 species of wildlife. This animal park is split into two areas, there's a drive-through area and a walking area. The drive-through area allows visitors to sit in a bus and see various animals, such as giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, lions, bears, flamingos, and more. There are also some animal performance shows and a bird zone. It is similar to the Night Safari in Singapore.
