Opera 'Die lustige itwe' by Shanghai Opera House

The three-act operetta "Die lustige Witwe," or "The Merry Widow" in English, was first performed in Vienna, 1905. The story is based on Meilhac's "The Embassy Attache" and has a happy ending. Many international productions, as well as revivals followed, as did sequels, spoofs and film versions.
