2013 Guangzhou Restaurant Week

Fine dining at an affordable price

Guangzhou Restaurant Week is back with a vengeance in 2013! From March 4-10, more than 175 restaurants across China's major dining destinations Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, will participate in this annual culinary extravaganza. During the week-long event, restaurants will present an exclusive 3-course Restaurant Week menu for lunch, dinner or both, for a fixed price starting from 68 RMB for lunch or 158 RMB for dinner. The event is perfect for anyone out there who's ever wanted to sample some of the best international cuisine that Guangzhou's pricier restaurants have to offer on a more modest price scale.

Participating restaurants

Some of the returning restaurants include Guangzhou favorites like Edge, Prime Steakhouse & Four Seasons (The China Hotel, A Marriott hotel), Paulaner Brauhaus, Noble Café and La Seine restaurant and many more. Together with the new additions – including La Marina, Prego (the Westin Guangzhou) and Alsace Village – foodies in Guangzhou are offered a formidable variety of cuisines to choose from.

How to reserve

Reservations will be available online via the special DiningCity website www.restaurantweek.cn from 16:00 on 21 February, 2013. "Citibank (China)credit card" holderscan enjoy exclusive priority online booking from 16:00 on 18 January to 21 February 2013. Competition for reservations are fierce, so make sure to book your table quickly.

Restaurant Week 2013 is presented by DiningCity as well as Citibank China, the Presenting Partner, in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. "Citibank (China) credit card" holders who use their Citibank (China) creditcard to settle their bill at participating restaurants during the China Restaurant Week 2013 will be given extra Citibank credit card rewards points and will have a chance of winning lucky draw prizes, including popular electronic gadgets.

Launched by international online dining guide and restaurant reservation platform Diningcity.cn, customers are also invited to share their reviews (quality of food, service and atmosphere) and feedback on their dining experience on the website.

Restaurant Week is a concept that was started in New York in 1998, and since then has expanded globally to become the world's biggest dining event. It is fast becoming the biggest dining event in Asia, with participation from Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
