In Numbers: Canton Fair at 70 – Smart Manufacturing in Focus

The 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) marks a major milestone for the Fair's 70th anniversary.

The first phase, themed "Advanced Manufacturing," covered 520,000 square meters, with more than 25,000 booths and over 12,000 participating enterprises. As of October 19, 189,000 overseas buyers from 214 countries and regions had attended, up 13.3 percent from the same period of the previous session.

About 64 percent of exhibitors apply new technologies such as the industrial internet and artificial intelligence (AI). New and green products account for 23.2 percent and 26 percent of the exhibits, respectively, with both hitting record highs.
