(ECNS) -- Photos of a boy on his knees courting a girl at a bus stop in Jiangsu province have gone viral online, proving that concerns by schools and parents are not unfounded, jschina.com.cn reported.

A citizen surnamed Wu of Suzhou city said that on Tuesday, he saw a boy kneeling down in front of a girl wearing a ponytail about the same age, at a bus stop in Wuzhong district. The boy read from a piece of paper for nearly five minutes, while the girl sat on a bench, occasionally looking up to see her response, Wu said.

After the boy finished his reading, the girl stood up and walked several steps away. Another boy was heard saying, "Why don't you go hug her?" The kneeling boy then stood up and held the girl in his arms, whispering in her ear.

Wu said he couldn't believe his eyes, adding that the kneeling boy was only about 1.4 meters tall, possibly a fifth-grade pupil.

Even with almost 10 citizens at the stop and other passers-by, the boy remained poised and undisturbed.

A netizen said he worried about his own son at school, and another joked, how would post-80s and 90s feel as post-00s are now pursuing love?
