Dongguan (CNS) – Dongguan of south China's Guangdong province seeks to cooperate with Taiwan's financial industry to attract 3-5 Taiwanese banks in 5 years, according to the newly approved Dongguan Financial Industry Development Program in the 12th Five-year Plan Period (2011-2015).

Over 6,000 Taiwanese enterprises have gathered in Dongguan, most of them expecting to conduct financing operations in Dongguan rather than turning to Taiwan to manage the deals when they get stuck with capital turnover problems.

Between 3 to 5 Taiwanese banks or international financial institutes sponsored by Taiwanese capital will be involved by 2015, according to the Program's schedule.

In addition, a monetary liquidation center is expected to be built in Dongguan during the 12th Five-year Plan period to convert RMB yuan and the New Taiwan Dollar.
