Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, has been given a tour of Xiaomi's Beijing headquarters, meeting with CEO Lei Jun.

As part of the tour, Satya Nadella lauded some of the products the Chinese tech giant has been pumping out.

Nadella was also given one of Xiaomi's latest products, the new MI Mix2 smartphone.

Microsoft and Xiaomi are partners, with the Seattle-based company providing the software for Xiaomi's smart phones, laptops and other electronic devices.

Meeting with Nadella, Lei Jun has also revealed that Xiaomi plans to open its newest physical store for MI products in Shenzhen on November 5, 2017.

Xiaomi started out 2017 with plans for 100 billion yuan in revenues. The company also intends to increase the number of brick-and-mortar stores it has up to 200 from 54, with a larger goal of 1,000 physical retail stores within three years.
