Alibaba Cloud yesterday showed how its ET artificial intelligence program embracing video, image and speech recognition could be adopted in various areas like transport and healthcare to enhance efficiency in daily life.
Meanwhile, Alibaba Cloud intends to send 100 domestic software service firms to the global market as part of its overseas expansion plan while it also launched a platform for international technology partners to enter the China market, Hu Xiaoming, Alibaba Cloud president, said at the Cloud Computing Conference in Beijing yesterday.
"China's booming start-ups, especially in the mobile Internet sector, are providing growth opportunities for overseas companies and we welcome all parties to join efforts to build a healthy ecosystem," Hu said.
At the conference Alibaba Cloud displayed how its AI technology could be leveraged in different industries such as transport, healthcare and navigation services to help increase efficiency and monitor risks.
