Xiaomi Corp, which boasts more than 100 million users, launched online financial services yesterday following similar moves by dot-com giants Alibaba, Baidu and Tencent.
Users are able to access the new MI Finance services through their Xiaomi handsets.
"We now offer users reliable and easy finance management methods through MI Finance," said Hong Feng, Xiaomi's co-founder who is in charge of the new services.
