Apple Inc is seeking senior managers to manage 10 new stores it will open on the Chinese mainland, as part of efforts to triple the number of Apple Stores in the country, according to the company's website.
Tianjin, Chongqing, Wuxi, Zhengzhou, Shenyang and Hangzhou don't have Apple-operated stores.
Apple China declined to reveal further figures or timetable for the new stores.
Apple, which faces competition from arch rival Samsung and Chinese firms like Huawei and Xiaomi in the domestic market, has 10 outlets on the mainland, including four in Shanghai.
"We plan to triple the number of Apple Retail Stores (in China) over the next two years," Tim Cook, Apple's chief executive, said during an earnings call earlier this year.
He added that the company would also expand online.
