The 8th APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Technology Conference and Fair (SMETC) opened on June 19 in Yiwu, east China's Zhejiang Province.
The 8th SMETC contains two sections; technical exchange and exhibitions.
The technical exchange is designed to provide opportunities for cooperation between medium-sized enterprises in APEC countries.
The exhibitions feature electronic devices, industrial designs and latest products from e-commerce, logistics and service sectors.
There will also be forums and seminars on innovation and financing during the event.
The 8th SMETC aims at helping small and medium-sized enterprises from APEC countries overcome barriers related to business.
The APEC SMETC is an important agenda and has become a flagship event for small and medium-sized enterprises in these countries. It is also a place for exchange and cooperation between businesses in the Asia-Pacific region.
