About 10,000 models of China's moon rover "Yutu", or Jade Rabbit, have been sold within the last 60 days at Yiwu International Trade City, east China's Zhejiang Province, making up on-sixth of total sales of the models in the country.  [Special coverage]

Many customers still rush to order or purchase the models, as the sale of the mini rovers will soon end.

According to Ye Ming, marketing manager of the arts-and-crafts company that produces these models, they got permission to market and make the mini rovers from the Lunar Exploration and Space Program Center of China National Space Administration.

The 1:12 scale model contains all the parts of the real rover, including a directive aerial, solar sensor, solar array, trailing antenna group and panorama camera.

Likewise, its name plate under the model is made of the same material as China's moon lander Chang'e-3.

The sale started in the trade city just seven hours after the launch of the Chang'e-3.
