Two employees of Sany Heavy Industrial Co Ltd., China's leading heavy machinery manufacturer, were reportedly detained and accused of stealing business secrets from its major rival in China, according to some Chinese media.

A recent article wildly spreading on the Internet said that the country's leading heavy machinery manufacturer hired spies and high-technologies to steal computer system information data from Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Development Co., Ltd, also a leading heavy machinery maker in China.

The two Sany employees were detained after being charged with"Illegally accessing to computer information system data" and "shielding criminals" respectively, by local police in Changsha in south China's Hunan Province, where the group's headquarter is located.

The 9608-word article clearly listed every detail of how Sany's employee managed to steal secrets from Zoomlion and said that the case is under investigation.

Sany responded the article calling it "a malicious attack" and said the group was also waiting for the investigation results, while Zoomlion kept a relatively low-profile.

The police refused to reveal details on the case.
