It has been officially announced that Chinese-Canadian singer and actor Kris Wu is to play in the 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, becoming the first Chinese star to be invited to play for three consecutive years.
Kris Wu first showcased his talents on the court when he was picked to play in the 2016 Celebrity Game.
Born in Guangzhou, Wu immigrated to Canada at the age of ten. He shot to fame as a member of K-pop boy group EXO. After leaving the group, Wu has been active in China as both an actor and singer.
The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is an annual exhibition match held by the National Basketball Association. It features retired NBA players, WNBA players, actors, musicians, and athletes from all around the world.
The 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game kicks off on February 17 (Beijing Time) in Los Angeles, California.
