Xi Jinping and Obama 'go on tea date' at the G20 Summit

Ahead of the two-day G20 Leaders Summit, alongside the picturesque West Lake in Hangzhou, Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Barack Obama took a stroll at West Lake State Guest House, following their meeting on Saturday. The impressive part is the pair sat down to taste the tea while having a pleasant talk.

The West Lake State Guest House witnessed another important historic moment between Chinese and American leaders, as 44 years ago, China's then-Premier Zhou Enlai met with former US President Richard Nixon. They talked through the night and finally signed the first Sino-US Joint Communique to establish formal diplomatic ties.
