  • The two-day talks will take place on September 4 and 5, 2016.
    · President Xi Jinping will host the summit and preside over the welcoming ceremony, the opening ceremony, meetings of five phases, 11 other events and the closing ceremony. Xi will also brief the media on the outcomes of the summit. Before the summit, President Xi is due to address the opening ceremony of the B20 Summit. He will also meet with leaders from the BRICS.
    · At the Hangzhou Summit, G20 leaders will consider measures to lift global economic growth and investment, create jobs, strengthen the middle class, reinforce the resilience of the global financial system and increase trade and investment.
