Shanghai Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine reopened to the public yesterday after an over eight-month renovation to have it equipped it with many hi-tech and interactive devices.
Visitors can now make herbs by themselves and try TCM diagnosis like pulse examination there.
The museum, which is inside the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park of Pudong New Area, is offering free admission from now to June 17. Its ticket is 15 yuan and open from 9am to 4pm from Tuesday to Sunday.
Audio-guide devices in Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean are available at the museum.
