A Chinese plane was forced to land at Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport early on April 29 after one Chinese passenger was found dead in the plane's bathroom, according to a report by TASS.
The Hainan Airlines plane, flight number HU7937, was heading from Beijing to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
The deceased man, born in 1950, was a member of a Chinese tour group, the report said. His wife reportedly said he was suffering from heart disease, and preliminary checks by doctors have confirmed he died of acute heart failure. The birth place of the man has not been released.
Russian authorities are investigating, while the Chinese Embassy in Russia has also sent officials to help with the investigation.
