The city's quality watchdog confiscated more than 1,000 counterfeit masks that carried "CM Mask" and "3M" trademarks in a crackdown in a market on Zhenbei Road yesterday morning, Shanghai Television Station said.
The vendors will face penalties and an investigation will be launched, said officials.
