The three children, whose missing has triggered a blanket search involving thousands of people, have been found safe and sound three days after they left home in east Zhejiang Province and went missing.
The three children were finally found in a village this morning, located about seven kilometers away from their home, according to local media.
The boy, Chen Hanlin, 7 and girls, Chen Minjie, 8, and Chen Xinyi, 12 were all healthy when they were found and had been rushed to a local clinic for further checks.
They just silently sat outside that village and one girl burst into tears immediately when seeing the rescuers and cried for mom, the report said.
They had lost their way and had not eaten any food the past few days but only drank some water from the village stream, according to the account of one of the kids.
They were reported to leave home on Tuesday morning. More than 4,000 people, police helicopters and divers had been sent to search for them.
