A South Korean national who was diagnosed with the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome has recovered and left a hospital in south China.
The South Korean man is the first confirmed MERS case in China.
The man entered Guangdong province via Hong Kong after flying from South Korea.
Representatives from the South Korean consulate met the man Friday morning in a hospital in Huizhou. They will send the man back home in the afternoon.
On Friday, South Korea health authorities reported one more MERS infection and two deaths, bringing the total contagion cases to 181 and the death toll to 31.
