Provincial and municipal authorities in China are urged to report corrupt officials on the run within 24 hours once found, to the central disciplinary watchdog.
To raise the efficiency, the discipline inspection authority of the Communist Party of China has set up a coordinated management system covering governments at provincial and municipal levels.
Once reported, information on the officials will be available on the system.
According to the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Central Committee of the CPC, many corrupt officials have several fake passports which ensure them to escape without any obstacles.
The discipline inspection authority has been strengthened its efforts on bringing back those economic fugitives who fled the country with a large amount of illegal assets.
During the "Fox Hunt" operation in 2014, 680 people suspected of economic crimes were caught in 69 countries in six months.
The anti-graft campaign continues in 2015. A newly launched operation, named "Sky Net" aims to carry out better international cooperation to capture corrupt officials who fled overseas.
Two bribery suspects, Pang Shunxi, a former tax official and An Huimin, a former trade company general manager, were taken back from Laos to China on Saturday.
