Chinese Defense Ministry has refuted rumors that there have been veteran soldiers from China involved in Myanmar's domestic conflicts.
At a regular press briefing on Thursday, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesperson Geng Yansheng said China had a consistent and clear policy with regard to relations with Myanmar.
He noted that China respects Myanmar's sovereignty and territorial integrity and it will not allow any organization or people, using China's territory, to infringe upon China-Myanmar relations or stability in the border areas.
In relation to the bombing incident by a Myanmar warplane in south China's Yunnan province earlier this month, a joint investigation has been conducted by experts from the armed forces of China and Myanmar.
