Authorities in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region have determined that a mild landslide was behind the death of 7 tourists in the city of Guilin on Thursday morning.
The tourists were struck by a huge falling boulder at the Diecai Mountain scenic area.
Four were killed on the scene and three later died in hospital.
A total of 25 people were injured, including 8 tourists from Taiwan.
The local government has already released a report on the incident after an investigation by local geologists.
The landslide occurred near the north entrance to the famous Mulong Grotto, which stands at a height of 30 meters above ground.
Visitors have been warned about the risk of falling boulders, in the landslide-prone mountainous region.
