The Air Box, for example, can control all conventional air conditioners and purifiers to smart ones at anytime. It can also detect indoor air quality, temperature and humidity, and then remind people of improving the air quality.

CHINESE BRAND OVERSEAS

Big highlight of this year's CeBIT is the hundreds of different Chinese exhibitors showcasing their products as the "IT map shifts towards the east." Some Chinese companies, as German industry insiders said, are already quality leaders here in Europe.

During the trade fair, Chinese enterprises told Xinhua that they are not only focusing on developing new products and technologies, but also exploring better ways to establish and promote their brands overseas.

Xu Ming, Vice President of ZTE,mentioned three points in this regard: cooperation, innovation and service localization.

"ZTE attaches importance to cooperation and has a lot of partners. Providing good local service is beneficial to the long-term development of our company," said Xu.

For Inspur, localization of human resource and construction of overseas research and development centers are important steps in exploring the global market, Sun Peishu, Inspur's President, told Xinhua.

In addition, the IT company also pays close attention to the latest industry trends in order to timely adjust the direction of its business development.

Alibaba, said a senior manager, hopes to establish itself as a global enterprise.

"We are not expanding overseas markets blindly. Instead, we follow the footsteps of Chinese customers that go abroad and provide services they need," said the manager.

Besides, she added, participating in international exhibitions like CeBIT can also contribute to improving the outside world's understanding of Chinese enterprises.

"Industry insiders from European countries have greater interest in Chinese companies showcasing at the fair through their presence of new products and technologies."
