Chinese companies strong presence graces CeBIT tech fair

As the partner country of CeBIT 2015, the world's top trade fair for information and communication technology, China's strongest presence shows its power in the IT industry and graces the leading trade fair.

More than 760 Chinese exhibitors, including a nummer of big names like Huawei, ZTE, Alibaba, Haier, are gathering at the annual fair to present their latest products and solutions on various areas of digital economy.

E-commerce giant Alibaba demonstrates its new facial recognition technology, which enables users of mobile payment systems to pay by scanning their face with a smartphone. The service, called "Smile To Pay", has attracted a lot of visitors while being showed in China's central pavilion.

Huawei, with the theme of "Innovative ICT to Build a Better Connected World", shows open innovation by launching a series of key products and solutions, including service-driven distributed cloud data center and commercial software-defined network, bolstering its portfolio as a one-stop ICT solution provider.

At the booth of ZTE, visitors have the opportunity to learn about intelligent ICT solutions as well as its latest products in the areas of switches, routers, home-gateways, WIFI and video conferencing systems. In addition, solutions related to the topic of Smart City are also presented, with the aim of making cities more livable.

DIGITAL INNOVATIONS

This year, the theme of CeBIT is d!conomy (ditigal economy), which focuses on digitalisation and the impact it has on every aspect of business and society. Chinese companies have also showed trade visitors their concepts and innovations in this field.

With a series of smart home appliances, Haier presents its U+ Smart Life Platform which helps to realise a connected and easier everyday life. The network consists of smart air, diet and water ecosystems, and is also extended to smart family, community and city ecosystems.
