30 flights canceled due to fog at airports

Thirty flights were canceled and 170 were delayed at Shanghai's two airports yesterday due to heavy fog.

The bad weather reduced visibility to 1,200 meters at Pudong airport about 8am yesterday, and many flights were canceled or delayed, the airport said.

Heavy fog began affecting both airports on Monday night when several flights were delayed or diverted.
