Beijing's Yanqi Lake scenic spot resumes business on Friday. Hotels, boutique villas and the international conference center on the central island in the lake will gradually open to the public from November 17th, the Beijing News reports.

The lakeside resort is also launching special travel programs for tourists.

Visitors can enjoy the landscape around the lake and have a closer look at the scenery on the island by boat.

Chen Tianxiao, PR manager of the Kempinski Hotel in Beijing says they are going to make the Yanqi Island a five-star scenic site.

"Guests who place orders on November 17th will firstly stay at the Yanqi Lake on the island", he adds.

And if the orders exceed the number of guestrooms, the hotel will upgrade the order for free and allow the guests to stay at the boutique villas managed by Kempinski.

The scenic site of Yanqi Lake has experienced half a year's upgrades since March.

The whole scenic area is divided into six functional zones including a fitness zone, lakeside scenic area, children's activity area, rest area, catering service area and recreation center.

Visitors can get specific information about the areas by scanning the QR code on the signs with their cellphones.

The marketing manager of Yanqi Lake scenic spot suggest tourists enjoy the best view of the whole scenic area by visiting the viewing deck on the top of Jindeng Mountain.
