Premier, Merkel aim to further boost ties

Premier Li Keqiang has an especially busy schedule during his tour of Germany.  [Special coverage]

On the day of his arrival on Oct 10, Premier Li and German Chancellor Angela Merkel co-chaired the third round of China-Germany governmental consultations, attended the Sino-German Economic and Technical Forum, witnessed the signing of business deals worth more than $18 billion and held a joint press conference.

They also visited the Royal Porcelain Factory.

Premier Li and Merkel attended a total of 12 activities and events together - which gave them the opportunity to spend about 10 hours together to plan upgrading bilateral practical cooperation.
