China-made fake driver licenses flood the US

Hundreds of high-quality false US driver's licenses made in China and destined for the US state of Illinois were intercepted recently by US authorities.To the naked eye, they are indistinguishable from the real thing, the CBS 2 in Chicago reproted.

According to the report, many of the fakes were hidden in boxes of Chinese tea sets and jewelry and were finally found by the US boarder authority on September 24. At least one box was destined for a group of 20 college students.

Each false license can reprotedly be purchased for around $150 online.

Jesse White, the Secretary of Illinois, claimed that they were shocked by these massive false licenses and promised to look deeper into the problem.
