Guangzhou R&F won at home, beating Shanghai Greenland Shenhua 4-0 Sunday night in a Chinese Super League matchup.

R&F only needed eight minutes to open the scoring and ended the first half 2-0.

Visiting Greenland Shenhua could have cut the deficit shortly after the restart, but Cao Yunding's shot sailed just wide of the post.

The win moves Guangzhou R&F into third place in the Chinese Super League with 44 points, seven behind second place Beijing Guoan.

On Saturday, Beijing Guoan defeated Jiangsu Sainty 3-2 to secure their position.

In the 74th minute, Jiangsu's Eleilson pulls down Damjanovic and the referee immediately points.

Beijing Guoan then converted the penalty for the winning goal.

The win puts Beijing at 51 points and keeps pace with leaders Guangzhou Evergrande.

Asian champions Evergrande defeated Shanghai East Asia 3-0 on Saturday and remain atop on 57 points.
