Official faces investigation over car sex scandal

A government official is being investigated after he allegedly had sexual intercourse with several women in his car, the Cixi Party disciplinary watchdog said in Zhejiang province.

A preliminary investigation has confirmed the official is surnamed Xu, City Express reported on Friday.

The scandal was exposed on Wednesday on a local online forum.

"I saw them and asked my friend to check his identity," a whistleblower wrote online. "I learned that he was a government official who is going to retire in the near future."

A total of 19 pictures showed the Audi car driver had placed his hands on the legs of different females or women hugging him, the report said. The images were uploaded to the forum with the faces of all the individuals blurred.

The pictures look like they were from roadside surveillance cameras, according to the report.
