Apple planning 12.9-inch iPad for 2015: Bloomberg

Apple is reportedly preparing to roll out a larger, 12.9-inch version of its iPad next year.

Bloomberg is reporting production of the larger version of the iPad is set to begin in the first quarter of next year.

Apple has been struggling with declining sales of its 10 and 7.9-inch tablets.

The company has reportedly been working with its suppliers for over a year on the larger touch-screen device.

Apple is also due to introduce the latest incarnation of its iPhone next month.

The roll-out plans haven't been revealed.

However, China Telecom accidentally leaked information about the new iPhone earlier this week via its Weibo account.
