Web thriller 'The Death Notice' completes update with 300 million playback

Web series "The Death Notice", a thriller produced by Tencent video, has released all its episodes on Tencent's streaming website this week.

So far, the series has grabbed a record viewing rate of over 300 million.

The series is directed by young Chinese director Zhou Linhao.

"The Death Notice" is adapted from Chinese writer Zhou Haohui's best-selling novel of the same name.

The series tells the story about series of killings in a town after a string of death notices.

All were signed by "Darker" and received by every victim.

The thriller stars Guo Jingfei and Li Qian.

Who are also known for their leading role in the TV drama "Longmen Express."
