New app developed for students applying to US colleges

A high school student who is applying to US colleges has recently developed an app called College Talking Board, providing an online forum for Chinese students interested in studying abroad.

Apart from high school students interested in studying abroad and those studying in US colleges, professional counselors from five well-known education companies have been invited to share opinions on the forum.

"I created this app to help fellow students who are struggling with their applications cooperate with each other," said Sun Yufan, the developer and a senior student from Shanghai Foreign Language School.

Students can post everything related to college applications such as their college visits and SAT preparation tips on College Talking Board. They can also ask teachers and counselors questions by mentioning their name in a post.

This app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
